5 out of 5 stars Works great!   August 23, 2010

Bought this item because of price and high rating from other Amazon.com users. It works just as described. I am happy with the prompt shipment and with the product.

5 out of 5 stars Better than I expected!!   August 16, 2010

Love cooking on my Weber grill but cleaning it can
be a pain. I though I was going to have to buy new
cooking grates because food was sticking and it
was tough to clean up. Using Weber cooking spray
and the Grill Daddy my problems have been solved.

2 out of 5 stars The water is a gimmick.   August 14, 2010

The handle full of dribbling-out water that is supposed to help 'steam-clean' your grill grates has no discernible effect on baked-on deposits - the kind you get when you don't clean your grates more than once a year, like me. I think the positive reviews must be from people who clean regularly.

There's nothing wrong with the brushes themselves, but they're no better than what you could buy for 1/4 the price.

If you're looking for aggressive cleaning, try the "Grillstone Grill Cleaner" which is also available on Amazon. With not a lot of elbow grease, you can really clean up.

I am new to grilling and this makes grilling so much easier. It is actually kind of fun to cook with no cooking spray and wait a couple days to see how tough of jobs this thing can handle. The only negative reviews I saw on Amazon were
1. Flimsy Design (May break easily if dropped)
2. Too big for storage
3. Cheap Plastic material will melt while cleaning.

I figured there were too many great reviews not to try this contraption and I was pleasantly surprised there are ways around the negative opinions. Here they Are

1. Don't drop it!!! Be careful, duuuuuh
2. Mines fits on the bottom shelf of my pantry, I'm sure there is somewhere you can store it. You could plastic bag it and hang it right by the grill
3. This was the biggest concern as I didn't want to waste my money. Melting could occur during excessive flare-ups but I beat the system. Preheat the grill to about 400-500 or so and then turn the gas off!! the grill will remain hot for the 25-35 seconds you need to clean. This will elminate flare-ups becuse there are no flames.

Once again I am new to grilling but cleaning is very easy and actually fun I will admit. Have used it about 4-5 times so far. Hope this helps you peeps

Does a great job on our Weber Grill. Much better than I anticipated. I hesitated because it was a as shown on TV but it works great.
