 Great Grill - buy it somewhere else August 26, 2010

If I was rating this on grill alone, it would be a 5. The is the perfect grill for a couple wanting to throw a couple steaks or chicken breasts on during a busy week. It's well thought out, with the large easy to get to drip pan. It has a thermometer, etc. It's at home in the backyard or a small apartment balcony but big enough for a small dinner party. Unfortunately, The the experience with this grill has been nothing but bad so far. Out of the box it would not light correctly. It would half light, light only after letting gas build up causing a small flair up. Sometimes it wouldn't light, etc. After many back and fourths with customer service trying all the logical things I already tried, they finally decide the regulator is bad and they would send me a new one. Fine. Three weeks later still no regulator. After a couple more e-mails one finally arrives today. So know it's been a month and a half and I've able to use the grill about twice. My advice is that if you want grill go to Lowes or Home depot or some other place local this way you can just take it back when it comes out of the box broken. You'll pay a little more but trust me it will be way better to just take it back then deal with Weber Customer service. Buying a new grill shouldn't be this much hassle.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my in-laws. This grill is well made and has minimal assembly. Starts great, has a perfect flame (very hot) and has a nice amount of grilling surface. I highly recommend the cart because it makes moving the grill a snap, especially for the folks who are getting up in years. Make sure you have spare propane canister(s), because it does burn the gas quickly. I haven't used it for tailgating, but it is very portable and well suited for it. Overall, a great little grill, exactly what you would expect from a Weber!

We shopped around a lot before we picked this one; and, we are very happy with our purchase. We have used the grill twice with excellent results. Would recommend this grill to those who want a more compact, portable type grill with iron grates and plenty of heat.

If you want a great small grill, this is it. I had purchased and used another grill for 4-5 years. It would not sear a steak. This one will. This grill will cook. Fine weber quality. I would recommend to anyone.
