Basket works very well in our turkey fryer. We used it for chicken wings and french fries and it worked very well. The price can not be beat. The basket that was offerd by the manufacturer of our fryer was being sold for $129.00, and this one, which is the same thing was only about $30.00. The only thing we learned was that in order to prevent food from sticking, you should dip the basket in the oil prior to putting the first batch of food in. Other than that, we made 30 lbs of chicken wings and 15 lbs of fries for a graduation party without a hitch! AA great product at a great price.

Good product. Just be sure to check the measurements of your pot (diameter and height). I did not and the basket is about 6 inches shorter than the pot. The only way that affects cooking is that I obviously cannot get quite as much in the basket...

Although the strainer is a different size than the description (11.5 diameter x 12 inches deep), it is the same volume and holds a ton of food. It fit perfectly in my Brinkman cooker and I would recommend to anyone that needs it for a low-county boil. Great price and the standard shipping was fast.

I was satisfied with this product, other than the fact that it doesn't quite fit my 30 qt fryer from Bass Pro Shop. This item was better priced than those for sale at Bass Pro, but it might make more sense to suck up the extra money and buy the basket that goes with the particular fryer you have. The rim on this product caused the product to stick in the fryer pot, so I had to hammer down the sides a bit to make it go in and out correctly. I'm sure if you have a Bayou Classic fryer it'll work just fine!
