A great buy! August 17, 2009 MEV 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The Weber arrived super fast and it was easy to put together. We've been using it regularly for the last month and it works wonderfully. Hopefully, it will hold up for a while!
buy the best August 17, 2009 Norm Sunray (wa) 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
This barbecue is priced the same as almost any big barbecue with all the bells and whistles they feature. the Weber is bare bones, but it does a super job, with a no-nonscance, very heavy grill, that does the trick for heating.Would never buy any thing else.
Griller August 2, 2009 David L. Pitzer (Michigan) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Have had many Weber grill's and this one is as good, as any I've had in the past. You pay a little more be you get more,as they last for year's.
Long lasting design July 21, 2009 D. Schulz (MN, USA) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I don't write a lot of reviews but this is one I am happy to do. I bought the Weber 300 about a month ago and this is one fantastic grill. This if the third one (Weber Genesis gold, Brinkman) I have owned in 7 years and I bet it will be the last one for quite a while.
Pro's
- A design that won't rust out. The clamshell is cast Aluminum, the entire frame is nylon. My first weber rusted deeply in the entire frame in just 3 years. My second grill was mostly stainless very difficult to keep clean and the entire inside rusted out in just 2 years.
- Cooking area big enough for a family of 5 and a few friends
- Cast iron cooking grate for even heat
- two burners for indirect cooking on certain items
- No rocks or flavorizer bars to rust out
- Thermometer that is accurate
- Side tables with 6 hooks for tools (and can be folded away)
- No silly side burners
- Spider proof burners
- Simple assembly
Cons:
-Tank regulator protrudes from the rear of the cart, can be bumped when wheeling in and out of our screen porch door
We have been through the spectrum. Cheap sears with lava rocks-ok for a starter, Weber Genesis - rusted at the frame and inside far too quickly, Stainless Brinkman - cheap but cooked like it and rusted inside anyway. The Weber 300 is designed to last for a long time.
Love My Q300 July 10, 2009 Candy 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this last year after a man drove through my yard and into my house, destroying many many things in his path, including my old grill. I did a bit of research and went to the stores for some hands on. The Q300 was the result of that research. There are many wonderful features, but the one I LOVE best, is the cast iron grill, it heats evenly and cooks beautiful food. oh, cannot forget, it has a "no mess" drip pan that hides underneath.
